On Thursday, May 25, 2023, Mrs. Yvonne Alice Mary Sandberg (nee English) of Oliver passed away peacefully of old age at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin Oscar Sandberg; daughter, Kristine Reynolds and son, Tracy Sandberg. Yvonne will be fondly remembered by her loving family including sons Benjamin Eugene Sandberg and Terry Robin Sandberg. Over the years, Yvonne owned and ran the Lynnwood and OK Falls Hotels. She enjoyed playing cards and was fortunate enough to travel the world during her lifetime and held a life long association as a faithful Jehovah’s Witness. A private graveside urn committal will be held at the Penticton Lakeview Cemetery. Donations gratefully accepted for jw.org.
