Theresa Ann Rudolph (Besler)

January 2, 1966 - November 28, 2023

Tribute

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the unanticipated passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister Theresa Ann Rudolph.

On November 28, 2023, at the age of 57, Theresa unexpectedly transitioned from this world with her family by her side.

Predeceased by her father Herb Besler, she will be lovingly remembered by her husband and the love of her life Terry, her sons Michael (Lindley) and Jordan, her mother Sharon Besler, her brother Ralph Besler, her sister Wendy Simpson (Wes) and nephews and nieces Sam (Richard), Chase & Selina Besler.

The oldest of three, Theresa was born in Vancouver. Her family moved to Osoyoos, BC when she was a few years old. She met the love of her life Terry when she was just 17. Married at 18, she and Terry moved back to the Okanagan from Edmonton to work with her family’s vacuum & sewing businesses. Starting their own family together, they welcomed their oldest son Michael when she was 20 years old, and six years later were blessed to welcome their second son, Jordan.  As long-time Oliver locals, they owned and operated Action Vacuum & Sewing in Oliver for 15 years. At that same time, they opened their Princeton location, and in more recent years took over the Penticton branch full-time. She worked very hard while raising her family, always taking on projects and challenges with vim and vigour.

Theresa took great pride in taking care of her family. Her unwavering loyalty was known and felt by them every day. She was very proud of her two boys, was kind and generous and would always do whatever she could to help and be there for them.

Known by her family and friends for her famous honey cookies – of which she baked by the dozen – Theresa spent her more recent years caring for mother Sharon. She loved watching playoff & tournament sports, playing crib in the backyard on summer nights, and of course who could forget her enjoyment of Texas Hold ‘Em. She truly was one of a kind and everyone who knew her would attest to this. Full of personality – she was loud, stubborn and outgoing. There will be an unmistakable void in our lives without her.

She has left us far too soon and we will miss her greatly. She will be in our hearts forever.

Celebration of life details are to be confirmed at a later date and will be posted here.

What a shock to learn of Theresa’s passing !! Our sincerest sympathy to Sharon, Terry, Ralph, Wendy and families. When we moved to Osoyoos in 1973 we went to Oliver and purchased a vaccum from Action Vaccum & Sewing. We still use it today and it works like day one. Absolutely the best people to deal with. Our thoughts are with you all as you deal with such a loss. Keep your memories close to your heart.
