Hugo Bach

August 7, 1950 - January 6, 2024

Tribute

Passed from this world to an eternal Heaven to be with Jesus on Saturday, January 6, 2024.

Born in Leroy, Saskatchewan on August 7, 1950, the youngest of 6 siblings.

He was predeceased by his parents; one brother and one sister-in-law.

Hugo will be fondly remembered by his loving family including wife, Charlene; son, Dwayne (Sim) and grandchildren, Jovin and Amira of Lethbridge, AB; daughter, Melody, (Ron) Metz and granddaughter Vera of Prince George, BC; sister, Elsie of Humboldt, SK; brother, Alfred (Judy) of Saskatoon, SK; sister, Ida (Helmuth Mueller) of Winnipeg, MB: brother, Wally (Bev) of Humboldt, SK as well as many extended family and friends and his dog Ally.

Hugo enjoyed a long career of 44 years in the plumbing industry including running his own plumbing business for close to 30 years. After selling the plumbing business in 2016, he enjoyed making homemade mouse and rat traps, garden ornaments, bird feeders in his shop and was very successful at selling them at the Saturday farmers market. In July 2018, he joined the staff at Buy Low Foods, stocking shelves before health issues arose in 2023.

In his spare time he would spend time with his grandchildren or working in his shop making cabinets, closets, china cabinets or toys for his grandchildren. If there was an easy way to make things there was a jig made.

His favourite sports teams were the Montreal Canadiens and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Over the years he enjoyed eleven cruises with Charlene and their sibling families. He was always looking out for his wife, children and grandchildren so they would have successful lives. Hugo was also very active at the Osoyoos Baptist Church.

Donations are gratefully accepted for the Osoyoos Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm, Saturday June 1, 2024 at the Osoyoos Baptist Church.
