Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother on October 12, 2009 at Mariposa Gardens with her family at her side.
She is predeceased by her husband Harry, brother Keith “Bud”, and grand-daughter Mandy.
She is survived by her loving family: children Karen (Al) Aschenbrenner, Janice (Ted) McEwen, and Keith (Lena) Sheardown; grandchildren Stephen (Dawna), David (Wonju), Lacey (James), Kevin (Brandy), Grant (fiancée Nancy), Mark, and great-grandchildren Mateja, Kelvin, and Benjamin.
There will be a private graveside burial. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the Osoyoos United Church, Rev. Steve Hershey officiating, followed by a tea.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of one’s choice.
Special thanks to Dr. Tarr, Rev. Hershey, special care giver Val, and to the caring staff at Mariposa Gardens.
God saw you getting tired
