Tribute

Mrs. Erna Victoria Frank passed away at Durand Manor, Golden on December 10, 2009 at the age of 94 years.
A funeral service will be held from St. John’s Lutheran Church, Oliver on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 1 pm with Reverend Ray Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Oliver Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Gerald Frank, Wally Frank, Randy Frank, Brian Kelley, Johnathan Frank, Mark Drake, Doug Wellington, David Drake and Derek Drake. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice in memory of Erna.
Erna was born in Loveland, Alberta on May 24, 1915 and had been a resident of Oliver for many years. She worked in the CO-OP packing house in Oliver and was very involved in her church. Her hobbies included crocheting and gardening.
Erna was predeceased by husband, Adam in 1992, son Ken in 2006; brothers: Herb, Herman, Art & Albert: sisters: Laura and Bertha. She is survived by four children: Doreen (Tom) Kelley of Golden, Gerald Frank of Wainwright, Alberta, Randy (Linda) Frank of Christina Lake, B.C. and Wally (Edee) Frank of Anola, Manitoba, nine grandchildren: Brian (Lorraine) Kelley of Golden, Barbara (Doug) Wellington of Whitecourt, Carol (Mark) Drake of Golden, Deana Frank of Vancouver, Cory (Mary) Frank of Wainwright, Johnathan Frank of Vancouver, Cara Frank of Vancouver, Nadine Frank and Glendon Frank both of Anola, MB., nine great great grandchildren: Desiree, David, Derek, Crystal, Matthew, Brianna, Travis, Alana and Jason; one great, great, great grandchild Naveah Drake; siblings, Olga Bourne of Summerland, Lil Gabert of Olds, Alberta, Ruth (Paul) Turigan of Oliver, BC and sisters in law: Lillian Blumhagen, Margaret Blumhagen and Theresa Blumhagen.
Funeral arrangements were in care of Hindman Bowers Funeral Home, Golden in conjunction with Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Home, Oliver.
