Tribute
On Friday February 11, 2011, Mrs. Jacqueline (Jackie) Sutherland of Logan Lake, BC passed away surrounded by family at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home in Kamloops at the age of 68 years.
She was predeceased by her father John Roberts in 1984; her mother Loretta Roberts in 2000 and her brother Bruce Roberts in 2004.
Jackie will be fondly remembered by her loving family including her husband Scotty of 46 years; daughter Arlene (Bruce) McKague; son Rick; daughter Barb (Bill) Kelly; grandchildren (the love of her life) Tyson, Dakota, Quinton, MacKenzie and Liam; brothers Bob of Terrace Bay, ON, Ron and John of Elliot Lake, ON, Gary (Janice) Nanaimo, BC and Mike (Shelly) of Errington, BC; sisters Pat (Mike) of Ottawa, ON and Bonnie (Reg) of Rouyn, QC, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jackie was very involved in her community over the years. She co-owned the P&J Confectionery and was a co-founder of the Logan Lake Weekly. Jackie loved curling and was a life member of the Logan Lake Curling Club. She never missed any of the grandkids hockey games or other activities. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Sheik and nurses Jenny and Bonnie of the Logan Lake clinic.
Donations are gratefully accepted for the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home, 72 Whiteshield Crescent South, Kamloops, BC V2E 2S9.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 P.M Saturday February 19, 2011 at the Logan Lake Secondary School gym.

Dear Scottie, Ricky, Arlene and Barbara,
I was so saddened to hear about the loss of your great wife and mom. Even though I had not seen her for many years, I have always remembered the many great times we had working on the paper and our great night time conversations. And of course I always appreciated it when Jackie came down to help me clean the hotel dining room at night when my shift was through. I was very sad to hear of Jackie’s passing. I have some very fond memories of her going way back to the P&J days and over the years watching hockey in the Logan Lake Arena. She always had a smile for everyone and usually a story or two! My deepest condolences to all of you.
