Leo (Lee) Harwood

September 24, 1947 - January 17, 2021

Tribute

It is with great sadness that the family of Leo (Lee) McLeod Harwood announces his passing after a brief illness, on January 17, 2021, at the age of 73 years.

Lee will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Margery (Maggie) and his son, Kenneth (Jen). Lee will also be fondly remembered by his grand children, Kathryn (Blake) and Daniel (Madison),  his new great grand daughter Emma, Lee’s brother Keith (Rosalind), sisters-in-law Barb (Alan), Louise, many nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends including Jeff, Rita and Sharon.

Lee was predeceased by his brother Scott Harwood, good friend W.P Kinsella, sister-in-law Susan, nieces Cory, Heather, Jennifer and both of his parents Kenneth and Ruth Harwood.

Lee loved to ride his Harley, play his guitars, watch the BC Lions play against the Hamilton Tiger Cats with Josh, work in his garden and play hours of scrabble and painting.  He had a wicked sense of humour, his last exploit had him sending a full set of drums to his friend’s one year old granddaughter. He also loved spending time with his dogs Bare and Zoey.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army.

A special thank you goes to Alan, Ken and Lisa for helping Maggie stay sane for the last two months.
