Tribute

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Birte Marilyn Sorensen Graham at the Kelowna General Hospital the morning of Nov 1^st 2022. Born April 8^th 1959 in Milton Ontario, Marilyn was given 63 years on this earth. She goes to join her parents who she loved dearly. She is survived by her three beloved sons Jeremy, Kyle and Brenden; her two sisters Mona and Karin; her niece Julia and her many wonderful friends. In life Marilyn was always the optimist, striving to take all opportunities offered and living her life to the fullest. She found her true work calling as a masseuse, becoming known for her strong and knowing hands that were always able to relieve pain and stress.

Marilyn was a very caring friend, always treating others as if they were family and quickly becoming the ‘mom’ of the group and mentor to younger coworkers. She had a love for flowers, cute cats, strong coffee, a good glass of wine and whistling to birds in the morning. A creative soul, Marilyn enjoyed crafting decorative art pieces, writing poetry and always strived to present herself as exquisitely as possible. She will be missed dearly but not forgotten. Love you, Mum.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Services, Oliver, B.C.
