On Thursday October 8, 2009, Mr. Albert George Astle of Oliver passed away suddenly at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 78 years.
He was predeceased by his wife Kay Astle in 2008 and son David Astle in 2009.
Albert will be fondly remembered by his loving family including daughters Cindy Astle (Frank) of Oliver and Linda Astle of Vancouver; son Terry Astle (Margaret) of Coquitlam; five grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Albert enjoyed a long career as a stucco/plaster contractor. He also enjoyed going for his daily drives, his cigars and shots of whiskey. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Albert’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday October 14th at the Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Chapel. A reception will follow at Albert’s residence. Condolences may be directed to the family by visiting www.nunes-pottinger.com
