Tribute

On Saturday July 17, 2010, Mrs. Anna Dora Lock of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at her home after spending the last several years in both Desert Valley Hospice care and Mariposa Gardens at the age of 71 years.
She was predeceased by her sister Christa O’Brien in 1993; father Herman Gummel in 1994 and mother Elisabeth Gummel in 1994.
Anna will be fondly remembered by her loving family including husband Harvie Lock; sons Rodney Lock (Greg Nelsen) and Bradley Lock (Susan Lock) and grandchildren Kendra Lock, Riley Lock and Carson Lock.
Anna was born in Penticton and was raised in Osoyoos.
Over the years Anna worked as a bookkeeper and payroll clerk for Williams Moving & Storage and Canadian Forest Products before retiring back to Osoyoos.
Anna loved traveling and traveled extensively throughout Europe and North America. She also loved gardening, plants and had an avid collection of ladybugs.
