Anny Jensen

Tribute
On Sunday, April 23, 2017, Ms. Anny Lizzie Evelyn Jensen of Oliver passed away suddenly at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 89 years.
She was predeceased by her husband John Jensen and daughter Jessie Rempel.
Anny will be fondly remembered by her loving family including children Rene Nielsen (Joan) and Manja Labbe (Michelle); grandchildren Anny Desjarlais Nielsen (Jason), Ruth Aston (Blair), Rene Jr (Crystal), Rosina Oshanik (James) and Juanita Fraser (Robert); thirteen great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Anny worked doing janitorial work in her earlier years. She enjoyed travelling and especially liked trips to Denmark, Montana and Calgary. Anny also enjoyed cross stitch, knitting and crochet.
She was a devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and volunteered her time with the C.A.P.S Canada Organization.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the South Okanagan General Hospital for their compassion and attentive care.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday May 14, 2017 at the Oliver Seventh-day Adventist Church followed by a reception in the church hall.
