Tribute
Antonio died peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife Lurdes; daughter Fernanda and son Luiz as well as his grandchildren Phillip and Michael and great-grandchildren Temperance, Aidan and Arya.
Antonio started work as a precision machinist and never stopped tinkering. He came to Osoyoos in 1966 and made a big switch to farmer which he ultimately enjoyed. Antonio enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his favorite soccer team Sporting lose too often. He was a life-long member of the Catholic Church.
He will be missed by his family and many friends.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday August 20th at 11:00 am from St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Osoyoos with Fr. Neil Lustado as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery.
Donations gratefully accepted to the Canadian Cancer Society.
