Tribute
On Sunday May 19, 2013, Mr. Antonio Alfredo Ribeiro of Osoyoos passed away at Mariposa Gardens at the age of 84 years.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Maria Esperanca Santos Ribeiro.
Antonio will be fondly remembered by his loving family including son Carlos (Irene) Ribeiro; daughter Luisa (Howard) Crook; grandchildren Adabella (Joe) Bulhoes and Edson (Jen) Ferreira as well as great-grandchildren Briana Bulhoes and Chance Ferreira.
Antonio spent his whole career as a carpenter. He enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, and growing a garden. Antonio also enjoyed his vacations back to Portugal to visit family and friends.
A funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Dave De Souza at 11:00 A.M. Friday May 24, 2013 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. A reception hosted by the CWL will follow in the church lower hall. Cremation will follow with an urn interment and committal at Gardens of Gethsemani in Surrey.
