Tribute
On Sunday, May 21st, 2023, Armanda Sousa of Osoyoos, passed away peacefully at McKinney Place in Oliver, B.C. at the age of 82 years.
She will be remembered by her devoted niece Maria (Jack) Gaspar of Osoyoos; sister-in-law Ilda Sousa of Oliver; nephew Joe Sousa of Oliver; sister Gilda (Daniel) de Frias of Bermuda; brother Manuel (Maria Jose) Simas of Mississauga, Ontario; brother-in-law Armando Costa of Azores; as well as fifteen nephews and nieces from Azores, Bermuda, and the United States.
Rosary prayers led by Father Peter Tompkins will be held Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 at 7:00 pm at St. Anne Catholic Church in Osoyoos. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, May 31st, 2023 at 10:30 am followed by a graveside committal at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery.
Thanks to Dr. de Vries of Osoyoos for his excellent care and also thank you to the staff at McKinney Place who give such great care and compassion.
