Barbara Bryan, a cherished mother, grandmother and friend, passed away surrounded by loved ones, on August 5, 2023, at the age of 84.
Barbara was born on April 22, 1939, in Watford, England. She emigrated to Osoyoos, BC, Canada with her mother, Ivy and sister, Patricia in 1945.
Barbara married Robert (Bob) Bryan in September 1957, having two children together, Gordon in 1958 and Rhonda in 1961.
Barbara was a volunteer for the Blue Sage Riders Club and the Ladies Auxiliary (Legion). Barbara enjoyed camping and fishing trips with Bob, family and friends. She found enjoyment in her flower and vegetable gardens and always had two or three books on the go. Barbara regularly donated to many charities and ensured that any friend that was alone on a holiday had a place to come for dinner and friendship. She enjoyed travelling, regularly visiting her family in England, wintering in Mexico and even touring through China.
Barbara was predeceased by husband Robert in 2019 and by her daughter, Rhonda in 2009. Barbara is survived by her son, Gordon (Lynette) and her partner John Talbot. She is remembered fondly by her grandchildren, (Rhonda) Robert Sprung, Echo Bryan, and (Gord) Cody, Reece, Marcus and Thea. Barbara is also mourned by a multitude of cherished friends and community members who will forever hold her in their hearts.
In remembrance of Barbara, donations can be made in Barbara’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society or the BC SPCA.
Barbara Bryan will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she find eternal peace in the loving embrace of the stars.

So sorry to hear about Barbara Bryan, who I will always remember as Barbara Keller.
She was not tall, but a total ball of fire!
An elementary and high school class mate for many years and later, as a neighbour to my parents, a great help to them in their later years.
She will be missed, but never forgotten!
