Tribute
Barbara Johnson passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, at the age of 96 in Osoyoos, B.C.
Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Ronald James Johnson and her two sisters, Marion Kay (Harold) and Mary Madsen (Julius).
Barbara is lovingly remembered and survived by her three children; Christine Sharek (Gordon), Deb McCallum (Mel), Graham Johnson (Char), and eight grandchildren; Sarah Tucker (Stephen), Gavin McCallum, Emma Kot (Nathan), Liam McCallum (Riley), Anna Sharek (Connor) Alex McCallum, Myles Johnson (Baylea), Tasha Hildebrandt (Ryan)
Barbara was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Linus Kot, Elliot Kot, Hugh Tucker, Wallace Tucker and Eleanor McCallum, as well as eight nieces and nephews.
Barbara was always appreciated for her profound love of family and friends and her caring and positive outlook. She was the calm, reassuring and encouraging hub of our close family.
Ron and Barb operated the Westlock Funeral Home for 25 years and then enjoyed their retirement in the Shuswap and St. Albert.
The family would like to acknowledge the care and love shown to Barb at Mariposa Gardens in Osoyoos.
There will be a celebration of her 96 years of love and grace this summer.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Barbara’s name can be made to a charity of your choice.
