Beatrice Angela Huschek (Natske)

Tribute
Beatrice Huschek passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, August 2, 2014. She was born January 10, 1935 “on the farm” at Scott, Sk.
Bea worked as an LPN at Wilkie Hospital and Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon until the Huschek family moved to Osoyoos in February 1974. She then worked at South Okanagan General Hospital in Oliver until her retirement.
Bea was an exceptional crocheter. She gifted many of her beautiful creations to family, friends and acquaintances who marvelled at them. She loved playing cards, especially Kaiser, and enjoyed playing crib at the Elks Hall. She also spent much time travelling to casinos where she avidly played “the slots”.
Bea was a wonderfully sweet lady who made many friends over the course of her life. She was a sensitive woman with a happy demeanor and an accepting attitude.
Bea was predeceased by her sister Helen in 2004 and husband of 50 years, Frank, in 2011.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Val, son-in-law Doug, son Frank, grandchildren Jarrod, Anissa and Will, great-grandson Landon, brothers Ed (Helen) and Walt (Sharon), and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no service by request but please feel free to drop by Bea's condo at 103A – 8006 Vedette Drive, Osoyoos between 2 and 4 pm on Monday August 11 to share stories and reminisce.
In memory of Bea, donations to the Heart & Stroke foundation would be greatly appreciated.
