Born on May 19, 1930 in Mt. Lehman, BC, Mrs. Beverley Ann Mitchell of Osoyoos passed away peacefully on December 31, 2010 at the Penticton Regional Hospital at the age of 80 years.
Bev is lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years Alex; her five children Robert (Donna), Merrill, Colleen (Mike), Maureen (Ross) and Heather (Chris); seven grandchildren Robbie, Trevor (Gina), Angela (Steve), Tania (Paul), Darren, Larisa and Jenna; three great-grandchildren Alex, Sydney and Tyler; she will also be missed by three remaining brothers, Basil, Ross and Reid McDonald and one sister Shirley McGillvary.
Beverley was a long time member of the Beehive Rebekah Lodge and was also a member of the Royal Purple. She will be missed by all her sisters at both lodges.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday January 5, 2011 at the Osoyoos Elks Lodge. A tea will be provided by the Ladies of the Royal Purple following the service.
