Tribute

On Tuesday evening February 28, 2012, Mr. Carl Clarence Lutz of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 77 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents Louie and Barbara Lutz; daughter Crystal Lutz and sister Dorothy Lutz.
Carl will be fondly remembered by his loving family including daughters Carlene Blondeau, Trish Gingras and Emerald Lutz; grandchildren Laura Blondeau, James Blondeau, Raylene Blondeau and Kaylee Gingras as well as siblings Harvey Lutz, Margaret Baron, Shirley Hassman, Mervin Lutz, Grace Lutz, Ron Lutz, Oscar Lutz and Dale Lutz.
Carl was raised on a farm in Fenwood, Saskatchewan. He married Hildamae in 1962 and they raised their family while operating their grain farm near Melville Sask. They moved to Osoyoos in 1989 and he operated Carl’s Handyman (lawncare). Carl enjoyed spending time with his family, going for coffee, camping, road trips, & evening drives. He will also be fondly remembered for his passion for collecting John Deere items. He always maintained a strong faith in the Lord.
A memorial service was held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday March 3, 2012 at the Osoyoos Baptist Church.
