Tribute
On Sunday April 8th, Carlos Alberto Pereira of Osoyoos passed away at Kelowna General Hospital at the age of 53 years.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday April 13th from St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Osoyoos celebrated by Fr. Dave DeSouza.
Interment will follow in the Osoyoos cemetery with a reception afterwards
in St.Anne’s church hall.
Carlos was predeceased by his parents Antonio and Maria. He will be lovingly remembered by his family including his devoted wife Ana Maria and beloved daughters Ashley and Sarah.
His sisters Fernanda (Antonio) Janeiro, Maria Do Carmo (Fernando) Fernandes and Arminda (Luis) Fernandes
as well as his brother Jaoquim (Helena) Martins Pereira , many cousins,
nieces, nephews and extended family.
Carlos was a self employed orchardist and enjoyed landscaping.
His memberships included the Portuguese Canadian Cultural Society, Knights of Columbus, Holy Spirit group and the Legion.
He volunteered countless hours with Holy Spirit celebrations and parish breakfasts.
Carlos loved spending time with family, fishing, hunting and over the years traveling to Portugal, Andorra, California, Scotland and Spain.
