To the Shannon family: I will always remember your Mom as a person with a sharp wit, a warm laugh and a caring nature. The memories of the summers we spent in Oliver with Aunt Catherine, Uncle Bob and the family bring heartfelt memories to me, and are a tribute to the warmth of her character. In her later years she reminded me so much of our Grandma, Annie and her brother, my Dad.
Catherine, you’ve had a long and wonderful life that has touched many people. Rest in peace and in our memories.

I have happy memories of Miss McRae when attending High School in Oliver. She was my home room teacher. When I returned to Oliver in 1995 I met her on many happy occasions as Mrs Shannon. She was a wonderful person and she remembered me after all the years. My deepest sympathy to the family.

David and Barbara send our sincere condolences to all of Caye’s family on her passing. We became friends with Caye, some 20 years ago, through her good friend Betty Fleming (Barbara’s Aunt). We shared with Caye her love of golf, friends and good visits.. We shall remember the large part Caye played in the enjoyment of our annual holidays in Oliver. She will be missed.
