On Wednesday March 30, 2016, Mr. Charles Edward Cooper of Oliver passed away at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 72 years.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday April 9, 2016 at the Oliver Alliance Church.

Wileen and Family. We would love to give you the huge hugs you so deserve. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. Our friendship with Charles and you will always remain more than precious. We are very thankful that our journey last September brought us to you both. We loved our precious time spent with you, something we can not put proper words to. Charles was a caring, compassionate, loving, helpful, understanding, a listener, but a man who could express himself easily, and get his opinion known. We were lucky to get to know him during our Alpha Course, and our time helping you in the kitchen. Many great times, hugs laughs, and memorable time was spent over food or dishes. Our visits at your home, the teasing, the jokes played, and so much more are something we will never forget. Wileen, we are sorry we didn’t know of his passing until Saturday morning (much to short of time to make the ten plus hours over the mountains), but both of us said we would have been there, God at work I am sure, but there are always hugs waiting. When things slow for you, we sure would appreciate an e-mail or a phone call, but we are not expecting this for some time. We would love to hear your voice, and listen to you no matter when. God Bless you with the strength you need. Memories are precious, and you thankfully have many years of them. LOVE YOU WILEEN.
