JARDINE, Charles McGregor (“Charlie”)
Of Oliver BC, passed away at McKinney Place on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the age of 77 years. Charlie was the twin son of Roy and Nan Jardine, both deceased.
Charlie is survived by his son Daniel and daughter Charlene, both of Victoria, BC, his brother Roy (Inez) Jardine of Calgary, AB, loving twin sister Diane (Dave) Lindsay of Oliver, BC, devoted nephew David Jardine of Calgary, AB, nieces Cindy Jardine of Calgary, AB and Margaret (Brad) Tadey of Cranbrook, BC, and nephew Craig Lindsay of Cranbrook, BC.
Beloved grandchildren Marcus, Michelle, Elysse and Sarah Johnson, and Jessica and Catherine Jardine, all of Victoria, BC. He will be fondly remembered by his special friends the Radies family, his coffee buddies and staff of Crucetti’s, and his new friends at Heritage House.
Charlie lived all his life in Oliver, BC, and had many life-long friends. He loved the outdoors, back hoes and tractors, and was an excellent pruner. Kids and dogs loved him! He had a heart of gold and gave it away freely!
At Charlie’s request, there will be a simple cremation and interment of ashes. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the summertime, with the date and place to be announced.

Relation: He was one of my great customers.
I remember Charles very well. He was an important part of my morning when I worked at the Medicine Center. He was always ready with a smile and a kind word every morning of my shift. I know at times he was not always feeling well, it is my hope that I made some difference in his life as he had in mine. Miss you Charles.
