From: Annette Froy (nee. Boisclair)
Relation: Oldest Daughter

I’d like to thank everyone who is here today for the Memorial Service of my father Charles (Charlie) Boisclair. There was two things my dad loved to do, one is traveling and the other is to meet people. He did both extensively all his life. I have learned to do the same since I was a little girl when my family lived in Sportsman’s Bowl, north of Oliver. When I was around 7 years old, my dad went out and bought a snowmobile. I was so excited to see him driving around the front of the house with my two brothers, I remember him telling me to jump on the back and hang on. I was so excited and hung onto my dad feeling the wind blow in my face. I loved every minute of that ride on the back of that snowmobile with my dad. About half way through the ride my dad started to head home, we ducked between some trees and a branch pulled my hat off. Not even thinking, I jumped off the back of the snowmobile and ran back the few feet and grabbed my hat, laughing the whole time. I heard my dad yell back, “Come back Annette I’ll slow down if you are scared of me going too fast”. I ran up to him and gave him a hug and said, “No dad, I’m not scared, I have you with me”. I will always remember that moment, among many others and will have you in my heart forever, Dad. Love your Daughter, Annette.

Debbie & Family:

Those we love remain with us
For love itself lives on,
And cherished memories never fade
Because a loved one’s gone.
Those we love can never be
More than a thought apart,
Far as long as there is memory,
They’ll live on in the heart.

Extending our deepest sympathy to all family members….
Louis & Doreen
