Tribute
On Monday January 29, 2018, Mrs. Christa Bert of Oliver passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Penticton Regional Hospital at the age of 84 years.
She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years William, who passed away in 2012.
Christa was the youngest of 7 siblings of the Jacobi family from the small town Haarhausen in eastern Germany.
She will be fondly remembered by her two sons Harold and Andrew, their wives Jennifer and Cheryl, and her many relatives, extended family and friends at the Heritage House in Oliver.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hill, and the many other doctors, nurses and specialists who have taken care of her during her time in Oliver. Special thanks to the staff at PRH for their care and consideration during her last hours.
