On Saturday November 27th, 2010, Mr. Clifford Harold “Cliff” Hughston of Oliver lost his lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 79 years.
He was predeceased by his son Daniel; grandson Mark; his parents Vera & Dave and his sister Gladys.
Cliff will be fondly remembered by his loving family including his wife Alvina; his daughters Valerie (Fred) Brick, Wanda (Ed) Wiger and Diana (Mitchell) Harrison; his brother Charles: fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Cliff was much loved by all his family and friends and will be sadly missed by all.
He was involved in several activities throughout his life including the Osoyoos bowling leagues. Cliff enjoyed family and friends and was always full of energy and humour. He was a firm believer in “Life is short… eat dessert first.”
A memorial celebration of life in honour of Cliff’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday December 3, 2010 at the Oliver Royal Canadian Legion Hall with everyone welcome.
