Tribute

Predeceased by his mother and father Theresa and Patrick Nally.

Survived by two sisters, Rosaleen Hrycyk and Elizabeth Pyle (Gord); one daughter Elayna (Marty), grandchildren Elisha, Estyna and Emaya, one great-grandson Phoenix; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Conn was busy in his younger years involved as a jockey, a flyweight boxer and he played AAAA baseball. He liked to play pool and survived off his earnings for a time. In his later years Conn enjoyed Curling and Golf. He worked in the newspaper industry throughout Saskatchewan and finally for 34 years at the Calgary Herald. He had a farm in Balzac for many years and enjoyed raising cattle, chickens and horses and various other animals. He liked to ‘putter around’ in his sheds and build things. He moved to Oliver in his later years to enjoy the good weather and long golf season. He was always known to have a smile on his face and a hearty laugh. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday April 25, 2015 at the Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Chapel, 5855 Hemlock Street, Oliver, BC.
