Tribute

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dave Allan Cameron, who left this world on April 4, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in 1942, Dave was a loving husband to Joy, to whom he had been married for 32 years, and a devoted father to his son, Mark.

For over 30 years, Dave worked as an alcohol and drug counselor, dedicating his life to helping others find their path to recovery. His compassion, empathy, and commitment made a lasting impact on many lives.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Joy, his son Mark, stepchildren Bob, Terry, and Tammy, as well as 11 grandchildren. His family was the center of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Dave and Joy enjoyed spending their winters as snowbirds in Yuma, where they appreciated the warmth and the joy of travel. He loved sharing his sense of adventure and spreading his zest for life to everyone around him.

He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kindness, dry humor, and the love he poured into his family, friends, and community.

A private service will be held on June 22nd, 2025, at 11:00 am at Scattering Gardens in Oliver, B.C., to honor his memory.
