Tribute

On Thursday March 31, 2011, Mr. David Henry Eastbury also known as Fun Seeker passed away suddenly at his home in Osoyoos at the age of 70 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Elmer and Ethel.
David will be fondly remembered by his loving family including his wife of thirty five years Linda; his sister Diane; his brother Dean (Susan); his niece Tammy (Marc); nephew Jason; great-nieces Nissa and Megan; great-nephews Tyler and Jared; his sisters-in-law Ishbel (Andrew), Eileen (Arthur); nephews Richard (Elaine), David (Paul); niece Wendy (Lee) and great-nieces Lia, Ella and Lily Mae in Scotland.
David enjoyed ham radio, theatre and yacht sailing. In 2006, he sailed in a 55’ sailing yacht Northern Child from Las Palmas to St. Lucia, 2858 nautical miles in a race and finished first in their division.
He will be missed by his sailing buddies of forty years and their lovely wives.
David was also nominated and won several awards for Best Production in musical theatre and plays.
