Dear Belinda,
I am deeply saddened by the passing of my cousin and godfather. He was a remarkable man who lived a life well-lived, always preferring the tranquility of remote locations over the hustle and bustle of city life. His wisdom and kindness were evident in every interaction, including the thoughtful way he helped me write my first will.
At 73, he leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and cherished memories. My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
With sympathy, Debbie Crowe & Family

Belinda my deepest condolences for your loss. I am quite saddened by hearing of David’s passing. We work together for many years at the airport fire hall, and just as a friend went off the job again my deepest sympathies.

My sincere condolences to your family. I met Dave when we were both working at Old Dutch Foods. He worked in the receiving and I worked in the shipping side. We became good friends. I really liked Dave because he was easy to be around and always up for a laugh and there were many of those. Dave went off to join the fire department and he encouraged me to apply. I did a few years later. I remember him telling me he was quitting the fire department to go to law school. It didn’t surprise me as Dave was quite smart. We lost connection for a lot of years but out of the blue Dave contacted me and we talked for a long time without and uncomfortableness. We reminisced about Old Dutch Foods and the people we worked with there, lots of laughs. He told me he had bought a place in Osoyoos and would be moving there in a couple of months. I promised to come and visit him but hadn’t as I thought I had lots of time. Dave was one of the true nice guys in the world and he will be missed.

Dear Belinda, to hear of Dave’s illness and passing was so saddening. I think of you both every day. Dave was such an interesting guy with many talents. He loved his walks with you and the dogs, and drinks by the fire in the evenings. He gave good advice and was a smart man. He liked to talk to his neighbors and was interested in what they had to say. Those are the things I remember about him. He’ll be missed.
