Tribute
On Sunday April 24, 2016, Mr. Dave Reimer went to his heavenly home.
Dave was born November 23 1921 in Russia. The family immigrated to Canada when dad was four.
He was predeceased by his wife Anne in 1999 and an infant son Lawrence.
Left to cherish his memory are children Earl (Lillian) of Calgary, Colleen of Kamloops and Elaine (Ticker) of Osoyoos; grandchildren and great-grandchildren Kevin (Karina) and Kristian and Kiana; Tanya (Reinaldo) and Katarina and Dominic; Sarah; Jonathan (Rebecca).
Thru fostering there are several other children who called Dave and Anne “Grandpa and Grandma”.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday April 30, 2016 at the Oliver Alliance Church. A lunch reception in the church will follow the celebration.
Interment and committal will follow at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted for the Oliver Alliance Church, where dad loved to volunteer time for our community.

It was so nice for me to have visits with your dad over the years once he was in Heritage House and in Mckinney.Place. He was a comfort when i lost my husband and a man who loved to share stories about his wife and family. His humor was infectious and he was a surgate dad in many ways. It was difficult seeing him go down hill and have such difficulty with his hearing. His kind words were encouraging and he always let me pray with him when I left. Thank you for sharing him with me the past few years. It was such a joy to hear about his early years from you girls at the service. God richly bless and keep your family. Betty-Jo Hetherington
