Tribute
On Friday, January 26, 2018, Mrs. Diane Holz of Osoyoos passed away peacefully in her sleep at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 75 years.
She was predeceased by her husband John; father John; mother Phoebe and her brothers Bill and Doug.
Diane will be fondly remembered by her loving family including sons Dale (Cheryl), Rick (Liz) and Jerry (Lisa); grandsons Dylan, Tyler (Emily), Keenen (Avery), Jaeden (Teneya), Levi, Mason and Braidy; sisters Lenora (Mel) Bousfield and Donna Fenton as well as brother Gary (Helen) Keful.
Diane was born in Kelowna, BC and moved to Osoyoos in 1951 and married John Holz in 1961.
She loved to travel and enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Palm Springs and Disneyland. She also loved to cook, bake, bowl, play softball and watch her sons and grandsons play hockey. Over the years Diane was active volunteering with the South Okanagan Minor Hockey Association.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday February 3, 2018 at the Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Chapel, 5855 Hemlock Street, Oliver, BC followed by a graveside urn interment at 3:00 P.M. at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery. A reception a Troy’s Grill in Osoyoos will follow the interment.
