Tribute
On Saturday December 29, 2012, Mrs. Doreen Evelyn Pawlyshyn of Oliver passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 88 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Alex Pawlyshyn; her brothers Mike and Fred Halkowich; her sister Ann Mukannik; half-brothers Bill & Richard Bartko and brothers-in-law Nick and Dmytro Pawlyshyn.
Doreen will be fondly remembered by her loving family including daughters Sonia (Garry) Cournoyer and Iris (Danny) Timm; son Ron Pawlyshyn; grandchildren Donnivan, Tammy, Candace, Michael, Tabatha and Becky; eleven great-grandchildren; Harry (Julie) Pawlyshyn; Katherine Bartko; Olga (Sylvester) Boklaschuk as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside service was held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday January 3, 2013 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Kelowna, BC.
