Tribute
On Sunday May 22, 2016, Mrs. Dorothy Ellen Jardine of Oliver passed away at her home at the age of 78 years.
She was predeceased by her brothers Sam and Billy; her sister Patsy and her mother Mabel.
Dorothy will be fondly remembered by her loving family including children Melanie, Charlene and Dan; grandchildren Sarah, Elyss, Michelle, Marcus, Jessica and Katherine;
great-grandchildren Tyrus and Cohen; brother Jim; sisters Mona, Maralyn and Judi as well as many extended family and friends.
Dorothy enjoyed a long career working in special education at Oliver Elementary School for 30 years.
She enjoyed reading, the environment, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to the late Grant Wheeler, the entire Sidhu family and uncle Danny Ng and family who were always there for Dorothy.
Donations are gratefully accepted to any children’s charity in Dorothy’s memory.

Dear Charlene and family,
We wish to extend our condolences on the passing of your mother. There are several of us still on staff at Oliver Elementary School that worked with Dorothy. We remember her deep dedication to her students, and her sincere desire to ensure success for each one. She was a very devoted advocate for children and we are lucky that she spent her working career with so many of our students.
