Earl Douglas McKinney, born July 31, 1934, peacefully passed away on April 7, 2013. Earl fought a brave battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Helen, kids Dean (Jennifer), Kim (Patti), Tannis (Brian) and seven grandchildren – Krystal, Laurel, Holly, Zach, Jake, Sidney and Derek. He is also survived by his only brother Lorne. Earl loved to spend time with his family and granddogs. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please give donations to Moog and Friends Hospice House.
A celebration of Earl's life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at Linden Gardens, 351 Linden Avenue, Kaleden, BC.

Dear Helen, Dean, Kim, Tannis and Families,
It is with very heavy hearts we send our condolences to you all. Our family is so deeply saddened by the news of Earl’s passing or as we knew him “McKinney”.
His courage is unforgettable, his talent and sense of humor never forgotten. He was always ready, willing and able to lend a helping hand and we will never forget his amazing smile, friendship and unconditional love for his family and friends.
The heavens are so lucky to have him and we are so lucky to have known him and cherish so many fond memories.
