On Saturday May 23, 2015, Mrs. Edith Corinne Salmic of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at Mariposa Gardens at the age of 88 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Susan and her brothers Roy and Gordon.
Edith will be fondly remembered by her husband Anton; sister Alberta and nieces Tracey and Robin.
Edith enjoyed varied careers over the years, working as a cook in logging camps and hotels, as an ambulance attendant and she was in the Royal Canadian Army.
Edith won a BC Chefs award in 1977. She enjoyed showing dogs at dog shows, was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and was an Anglican.
A graveside urn interment will be held at 11:45 A.M. Monday June 1, 2015 at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery.
