Edward Julius Vargovcsik was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, in 1930. He came to Osoyoos in 1938, where he lived until he passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital on April 14, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Helene and his good friend Inez Pio.
