Tribute
Eileen Lyons of Oliver passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 after a long illness at the age of 62 years.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Gary, her son Bradley (Vickie), her daughter Michelle (Jason), her brothers Blaine (Joan) Nunweiler and Kenny (Linda) Nunweiler, and her sisters Jennifer (Albert) Perozuk and Debra (Robert) Pohl. Eileen was predeceased by her parents William and Lucille Nunweiler.
Eileen worked for Casorso and Co. in Oliver, for various clothing stores in Kamloops, and managed H and R Block in Kamloops.
Eileen travelled extensively in Mexico, South America, and Hawaii, and throughout the United States. She enjoyed outdoor activities, especially camping and fishing.
Eileen made a welcoming home for her family, and loved cooking and baking. For relaxation, she loved the quieter pursuits of knitting, reading, puzzles, and card games.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, with Pastor Darren Siegle officiating.
