Elizabeth Betty Boulter

Tribute
Elizabeth Ann Boulter, better known by all as Betty, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family in Oliver, BC on November 13th, 2013 at the age of 80.
She lived in Daysland, Lougheed, Drayton Valley, AB and finally in Oliver, BC. She learned and became an avid golfer but her first passion and priority was always her children. After 25 years of living at Cherry Grove Estates, she had made many friends through golfing and social events.
She leaves to mourn her loss 2 daughters and 4 sons: Brenda (James) Yu of Kelowna, Darrell (Julia) Boulter of Drayton Valley; Kevin (Ann) Boulter of Leduc, Heather (Dave) Andrews of Pine Lake, AB; Dean (Jamie) Boulter of Kelowna; and David (Paula) Boulter of Drayton Valley, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and 3 sisters and 1 brother, Joan Vrolson, Gail Johnson & Colleen Nahernik and Wally McCarroll and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends including her best friend of over 45 years, Gerry Cable.
She was predeceased by her brother, Danny McCarroll and her parents David and Bessie McCarroll.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Desert Valley Hospice Society PO Box 1261 Oliver BC V0H 1T0.
A memorial service was held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday November 16, 2013 at the Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Chapel. A reception will follow at the Cherry Grove Estates Clubhouse.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday November 30, 2013 at the Daysland United Church, 5210 – 49th Street, Daysland, AB. Interment in the Daysland Cemetery will follow the service. Lunch and fellowship back at the United Church will follow.

We were very saddened to read of the passing of Betty.
My memories of Betty go back to the times I spent on the McCarroll family farm and the time she spent living and working in Edmonton. Betty was a warm and gentle person with a great sense of humour,an inner strength and positive outlook. Betty’s family was always most important to her. She took pride in her ability to meet the individual needs of each of her children.
