On Wednesday, January 17, 2018, Mrs. Elly Elise Falkenberg of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 90 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Eduard.
Elise will be fondly remembered by her loving family including daughters Lisa and Gisela; grandchildren Jason, Eron, Richard and Karisa as well as great-grandchildren Logan, Kenzie and Zachary.
Elly worked in the local packinghouse for several years and along side her husband on the family orchard. She was an excellent cook, no one left her home hungry.
Over the years, Elly enjoyed several trips to Europe to visit family and many trips to the USA. She also enjoyed reading, needle crafts, crossword puzzles as well as her vegetable and flower gardens.
A memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Darren Siegle at 1:00 P.M. Saturday January 20th, 2018 at the Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Chapel. Urn interment and committal will follow at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery.
