Tribute
Elvira Borba of Oliver, BC passed away at McKinney Place on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the age of 80 years.
Mourning her loss are her husband Manuel Borba, their grandchildren Brendan (Therese), Tyrone, Daneel (Kya), and Levon Borba, her sisters Tina (Jose) Simeos and Maria (Manuel) Silva, and her brother John Silva. Elvira was predeceased by her sons Joe and John Borba.
Elvira was born in Santa Lucia, Azores. She was employed at the Oliver packing house for seventeen years. She also worked on the family orchard and at home raising her two sons. She enjoyed sewing and loved to spend time with her family.

Prayers will be recited at Christ the King Catholic Church on Monday February 19 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will follow on Tuesday February 20 at 11:00 a.m.
