Tribute
Born April 8, 1928 in Kimberley, BC where she resided for most of her life. Her last 5 years were spent in Penticton.
She died peacefully on February 14th at Haven Hill Retirement Centre in Penticton, BC at the age of 90, surrounded by family.
Esther enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles and volunteering at the Anglican Church in Kimberley.
She is predeceased by her mother Mary Sgro and her father Antonio Sgro, as well as her sisters Lucy Fletcher and Barbara Zaal.
She is survived by her 6 children: Terri, Kim, Jay, Lanny, Jody and Shaunna; her grandchildren: Mike, Geoff, Bryan, Samantha, Tony, Brett, Shane, Kevin, Mahrie, Kisha, Danielle, Jaclyn, Derek, David, Ryland and Julia; her great grandchildren: Erik, Bradley, Zachary, Presley, Scarlette, Lawson, Frankie, Aubrey and Finn.
A memorial service will be held in Kimberley in late spring. date, time and place to be announced.
