Tribute
On Tuesday March 11, 2014, Ms. Evelyn Agnes Wilson of Oliver passed away suddenly but peacefully surrounded by family at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 95 years.
She was predeceased by three sisters; six brothers; her parents and her daughter Judy Lee.
Evelyn will be dearly missed by her loving family including daughters Shirley and Christine; granddaughter Shelley; grandson Michael (Mouna) and great-grandchildren Matthew and Lauren.
Evelyn worked for the BC Government with Social Services and as a school bus driver for the District of Sooke, BC.
She was very involved in the Oliver Seventh-day Adventist Church. Evelyn loved children, spending time with her dear family and friends. She enjoyed animals, gardening, nature and being outdoors.
A funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Michael McPherson at 2:00 P.M. Saturday March 15, 2015 at the Oliver Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment and committal will follow at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery. A reception hosted by the ladies of the church follow the interment.
