Tribute

On Sunday August 28, 2011, Mrs. Felicidade Cardoso Farinha of Osoyoos passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at Mariposa Gardens at the age of 80 years.
She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers and one sister.
Felicidade will be fondly remembered by her loving family including brother Manuel (Maria) of Osoyoos; sister Emilia (Adilino) of Portugal; daughter Maria (Alex) Nunes; son Alfredo (Pamala) Farinha; grandchildren Christopher, Janine, Racyne and Kayla as well as many extended family and friends.
Felicidade enjoyed trips to Portugal, Reno bus tours, picnics in the local area with family and friends. She had a green thumb and loved gardening vegetables and flowers especially tending to her roses. Felicidade’s focus was family and she cherished her grandchildren. She was a long time member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and enjoyed many years serving with the CWL.
Prayers will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday August 31, 2011 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church.
A funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Dave De Souza at 11:00 A.M. Thursday September 1, 2011 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Committal and interment will follow at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery. A reception in the church lower hall hosted by the CWL will follow the interment.
