Florence Merryweather

Tribute
On Monday March 2, 2015, Mrs. Florence Winifred “Flo” Merryweather passed away in Surrey at the age of 78 years.
She was predeceased by her husband David in 2013.
Flo will be fondly remembered by her loving family including sons Ian and Andrew; granddaughters Christine, Brittney and Michelle; great-grandchildren Cody, Cole and Britain; siblings Fred, Marge, George, Dorothy, Elsie, Ruby, Bernard, John, Linda and Pat as well as many extended family and friends.
Over the years, Flo worked at the Valley View Hospital as a dietary aide and a receptionist.
She travelled often and most recently enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, England and Hawaii.
Flo was actively involved in her community. She was part of the Red Hat club. She volunteered with carpet bowling, lawn bowling, St. Edward’s Anglican Church and the activity centre.
Flo also enjoyed knitting, all types of bowling and cross stitch.
Donations are gratefully accepted for the Canadian Cancer Society.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday March 14, 2015 at St. Edward’s Anglican Church.
