We (Elsie Trotter and Jo Lee Riley) were shocked to read that Fran had passed. We hadn’t been to visit her near often enough after she went to the health center. I started writing her life story and was never able to make contact with any of her family to get copies of the pictures to put with the story. The last time I saw her she was looking good but she told me to see that the story got put in the museum. I was planning on going to visit again on a nice day that wasn’t to hot or too cold so I could bring her out to the car to visit with mother again. We enjoyed our visits very much and I’m so sorry that I didn’t see her more often and get copies of the pictures from that box behind the tv so we could go through them together and have more info for the story. You have probably found a copy of the first draft of the story going through her things. I’m so sorry we didn’t know and missed the memorial as well as meeting all of you. She was a neat lady and I would appreciate your getting ahold of me.
