Tribute

In the early morning hours of December 23, 2011, Mr. Frank Huschek passed away at the McKinney Place Extended Care Unit after a lengthy hospital stay.
Frank was born January 31, 1929 in Papa, Hungary. He later moved to Pecs to obtain a degree in horticulture. Frank served in the Hungarian armed forces as an engineer.
Frank came to Canada in 1957 and settled in Saskatoon where he met Bea. In 1974, they moved to Osoyoos where they had spent many summer vacations.
Frank leaves his wife of 50 years, Beatrice; his two children Valerie (Doug) and Frank Jr. and his two grandchildren Jarrod and Anissa (Will).
Frank loved animals, gardening, pitching horseshoes, playing cards and playing the slots. He and Bea spent much time travelling to casinos driving as far south as Laughlin, Nevada.
In memory of Frank, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the BCSPCA would be greatly appreciated.
