On Monday February 18, 2013, Mr. Fredrick Steele a long time resident of Oliver passed away at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 89 years.
Fred will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Laura as well as many extended family and friends.
Fred was born on April 19, 1923 in Winfield, BC. He enjoyed a long career as a logger, logging truck driver and a long haul driver.
A celebration of Fred’s life will be held at a later date. Donations are gratefully accepted for the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
