Tribute
On Saturday January 2, 2016, Mr. Gaston Raymond Rivest of Osoyoos passed away suddenly at his home at the age of 80 years.
Gaston will be remembered by his loving family including devoted wife Lucille; three sons: Serge and his family, Gilles and his family and Denis and his family; brothers Real, Abel and Ernest and sisters Gisele and Gabrielle and families.
Gaston and Lucille were married on June 20, 1959 and moved to Powell River in 1965 and after thirty years in Powell River they settled in Osoyoos in November 1994.
Gaston was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church.
A funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Neil Lustado at 11:00 A.M. Friday January 8, 2016 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Interment and committal will follow at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery. A reception will then be hosted by the CWL in the lower church hall.
