To Marg, Keri and Kali.

It is with much sadness that we hear of George’s passing. Our thoughts are with you. I have many fond memories of George, particularly Thursday night floor hockey, followed by “refreshments” at the legion or welcome inn.
George was a savvy bargainer for SOTA and all teachers in the district owe much to George’s dedication to see improvements in our teaching and learning conditions.

George – may you rest in peace knowing your knowlege has been sown in the lives of many others.

I got to know George as field officer for Burnaby teachers. His sense of humour and ability to put everything into realistic terms endeared me to him. My sincere condolences to George’s family.

Dear Marg, Pam and family: How sad to hear of your great loss! We fondly remember George for his “gumption” in all he did. He always wanted to make sure people were treated fairly. What comes to mind for us are: George’s down-to-earth approach, his infectious laugh, his quick intellect, his love of life and his gift for friendship. This past year, also his courageous approach to his illness. An inspiration to all whose lives crossed paths with his, George will be greatly missed.
